NYSC Senate List 2024
The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Senate list is a list of graduates whose participation in the required one-year program has been approved by the Senate of Corps Producing Institutions (CPI).
Typically, only those who have been shortlisted may sign up for the NYSC Program. The NYSC Mobilization list is another name for the NYSC SENATE list.
In order to be eligible for NYSC mobilization, prospective Corps members (PCMs) must make sure that their names are on the Senate academic list of their respective universities.
Whose names appear on the Senate list is not decided by the NYSC board. Your educational institution has the discretion to prepare the list and send it to the NYSC, who will then submit it to their portal for public viewing.
How to Qualify for NYSC Senate List 2024
Before their final Clearance, there is typically a time set aside for screening final-year students. Graduating students are typically expected to attend the records’ office of their school with supporting paperwork, such as course forms, school fee receipts, admission letters, FSLC/WAEC results, etc.
This is typically done to qualify the student for the school’s senate’s final year clearance, which would subsequently put them on the NYSC Mobilization List. Any student who doesn’t get screened prior to the clearance typically has to wait until the following academic session.
- Don’t forget to submit your final year clearance to your college by the deadline.
- Visit your school’s Directorate of Students’ Affairs to register for NYSC.
- Before your institution sends the list to NYSC, confirm your registration by calling and asking about it.
- Make sure your name appears on the JAMB matriculation list, and that’s all.
How to Check Your Name on NYSC Senate List 2024
- Go to https://portal.nysc.org.ng/nysc2/VerifySenateLists.aspx using your mobile device to access the NYSC Senate / Academic Board list portal.
- Decide on an institution.
- As stated on the page, enter your matriculation number and last name.
- Your date of birth will also be listed; please input it as well.
- To view your Mobilization status, click the “SEARCH” button one last time.
