1. INTERNAL / EXTERNAL VACANCY –FINANCE OFFICERS
Applications are hereby invited from young and vibrant recent graduates of Accounting, Finance, or related fields to join our Finance Directorate.
Qualification and Experience
- First Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
- Professional Accounting qualification is a clear advantage.
- Knowledge of financial regulations.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
- Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures.
- Good MS Excel skills.
- Not more than 3 years post-graduation experience.
- Proficient usage of Oracle ERP is a clear advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Reconciles daily, monthly, and yearly transactions.
- Prepares balance sheets.
- Reconciles bank statements.
- Managing records and receipts.

- Processing of invoices.
- Ensure account receivables and payables activities are performed accurately and timely.
- Ensure that financial transactions are properly updated and recorded.

2. INTERNAL / EXTERNAL VACANCY –CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS

Qualification and Experience
- First Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
- Professional Accounting qualification is mandatory.
- Knowledge of financial regulations.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
- Between 3 and 8 years of experience.
- Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures.
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
- Proficient usage of Oracle ERP is desirable.
Key Responsibilities (FINANCE)
- Production of periodic and statutory reporting.
- Incorporation of current and new provisions of financial reporting standard into the company’s reporting templates.
- Ensures timely preparation of IFRS account on quarterly basis.
- Reconciles daily, monthly, and yearly transactions.
- Prepares balance sheets.
- Reconciles bank statements.
- Monitoring of all prepayment accounts.
Key Responsibilities (AUDIT)
- Investigates violations of Company’s operational procedures.
- Makes recommendations to management on risks, corporate governance, and control issues.
- Prepares audit reports, audit alerts and investigation reports.
- Ensures the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and comes up with recommendations to strengthen controls.
- Conducts independent audit visits to examine the books and records of departments as assigned.
3. INTERNAL/EXTERNAL VACANCY –SYSTEM AUDITOR
Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of a System Auditor in our organisation.
Qualification and Experience
- A degree from a recognized institution of higher learning, preferably in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
- At least 5 years’ experience in internal audit function in a well-structured organisation.
- Professional qualification in Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) is mandatory.
- Knowledge of current technological developments/trends in the area of expertise.
- Knowledge of auditing concepts and principles.
- Strong quantitative, problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Understanding of information security standards, best practices for securing computer systems, and applicable laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct operational, compliance, financial and investigative audits as applicable.
- Perform information control reviews on system development standards, operating procedures, system security, programming controls, communication controls, backup and disaster recovery, and system maintenance.
- Respond to all system and/or network security breaches.
- Plan, implement, monitor, and upgrade security measures for the protection of the organization’s data, systems, and networks.
- Test and identify network and system vulnerabilities and create counteractive strategies to protect the network.
- Perform regular audit testing and provide recommendations.
- Review, evaluate, and test application controls.
Additional NAHCO Aviance Requirements 2023
- Minimum of 5 credits in SSCE/GCE/NABTEB/NECO including Mathematics and English
- B.Sc. or Masters’ Degree obtained from an accredited Tertiary Institution in any related discipline or an HND in a relevant course in any field of study
- The applicant must be able to communicate well and write clearly.
