- Become a Kenyan citizen.
- Having a Kenyan National Identity Card is a must.
- Have a least of a ‘D+’ (Plus) in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exam in either English or Kiswahili;
- Holders of a KCSE Examination Certificate or its equivalent must be between the ages of 18 and 28, and diploma and degree holders must be between the ages of 30 and 40.
- Meets the criteria of the Constitution’s Chapter Six.
- Is in good physical, mental, and medical shape.
- Has no criminal history or charges pending against him.
- At the time of recruitment and throughout the training period, female candidates must not be pregnant.
- Candidates should be aware that exam result slips will not be accepted.
